Hey to everyone who is reading this!
So since the last time we spoke I have remembered just how important a good diet is. In December I was visiting my parents and ate what I had to for good training. I was eating about seven meals a day!
Needless to say, training was going really great and I was hitting big distances that would easily qualify me for the games in Rio.
Then… reality hit me again, back to work, back to early mornings and late nights to make sure I fit in all my work and training that I have to get through in a day. All of a sudden distances are getting worse and I couldn’t figure out was it was. Because even though I felt a little tired, I was still in good shape to throw far but it just wasn’t happening. So thinking back on what I did different from December to now it was just the diet that changed. From eating almost 5000 calories per day to not even getting eating 2000 I could see that it was really affecting my training because it just wasn’t enough. Luckily now I have a small sponsor (Shoutout to Fiizique!) that helps me with pre cooked meals and working out exactly what I need to eat again. So training is slowly but surely getting back to normal (as normal as a working athlete can get) and my distances are picking up again. My training partner is back in the gym so that also helps to get the mindset and aggression levels back on track.
Exciting times ahead!
I will keep you all updated
