I am 6’4 320lbs I just graduated from penn state university with a bachelors of education in Rehabilitation & Human Services. I was the NCAA Runner up in 2015, While in College I was a 3x All-American, 3x Big Ten Champion, NACAC U23 Silver Medalist, NACAC Senior Championship Silver Medalist, and Pan American Games 2015 Finalist (4th place), my personal best is 20.86m
My offseason training has been going very well, after having such a long season in 2015 competing in a little under 30 meets my coach and I decided that we were going to take a slower/long term approach to this years training. We have been focusing a lot on increasing my weight room strength and overall fitness and that has truly paid dividends so far to my throwing. I have been doing a lot of drills, focusing on gaining my rhythm back and fixing my bad habits, such as landing on a flat foot when I save a throw instead of my heel. By the grace of God I haven’t been dealing with many large injuries. I had a hand injury that I had been dealing with since 2014 so my coach and I have been letting my hand rest and monitoring my throws volume. All in all, everything has been going well. I plan to open up January 30th at the Penn State National Invitational
