5. Protective Equipment

Protective equipment such as tape, back brace, knee sleeves and other things are extremely important to somebody that takes their throwing seriously. You have to be prepared for any situation in throwing meets and by preparing with these things you will give yourself the best chance of dealing with any situation.
Sometimes fingers get ripped open by a discus, so tape will allow you to continue throwing despite the injury.
