For throwing shoes there are many different brands and makes of shoes. To help all throwers out there we made a guide to throwing shoes and what would be most suited to you.
Firstly we start with Nike..
Nike Rotational 6
Nike Rotational 6
These shoes are at the upper end of Nikes production. The sole of these shoes are much faster than the other Nike throwing shoes available for purchase and as a result are more suited to rotational movements (Hammer, Discus, Rotational Shot Put.) The slicker sole allows more speed to be incorporated into the throw but as a result these shoes will not grip as well. In addition the bottom of the shoe is rounded which makes the rotational movements, especially hammer, a lot easier. Something else to note about the Nike Rotational 6 is that they have a fairly rigid sole with not much give. A downside to these shoes is that the sole wears through fairly quickly however this is a common problem that plagues the majority of throwing shoes on the market.
Pros: Fast Sole, Rounded bottom/edge
Cons: For an advanced thrower, sole wears through quickly
