6. Own Implement
Although not vital taking your own implement can be a very smart thing to do. You do all training throws with the same implement so why would you use anything different once it is time for competition? The majority of competitions it is extremely easy to check in your own implement so a smart thrower would do this!
If further bridges the gap between training and competition. We practice the movements in training to be able to do some identical in competition. So by bringing your own implement to throw you are helping your body to perform better by not introducing it to unknown conditions.
If all of these things are taken to your next competition you will be prepared to take it on and throw your best!
