With the World Indoors looming in a couple of months some shot putters are starting to come out of their winter caves to compete. At the National Throws Summit held at the Spire Institute Kurt Roberts threw the 15lb(6.8kg) shot as an exhibition event. In doing so he launched out a 22.36m throw. Although with a shot 1lb(0.4kg) underweight this number is extremely impressive. We await other shot putters coming out of the darkness in the coming weeks to showcase their form!
